The design is true and tested. The big brother of the Albany, The Hudson Bay 21 Freighter Canoes can handle up to 2000 lbs,
is rated up to a 20 h.p. motor. Equally at home in lakes and rivers it has become a
favorite of many in Maine and throughout the Canadian provinces for decades. Gerry Shepherdson first offered this
design in 1969. Many of those original freighters and canoes are still on the water. A classic that looks as good
as it performs.
